On December 11, 2024, the Women’s Financial Inclusion Seminar was held at the Bata Club, co-hosted by the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) and the Women Alliance of Business Associations in Zimbabwe (WABAZ). The seminar aimed to enhance financial literacy among women in business, and our very own Mr. Kusaya from the Bulawayo branch was honored to be part of it.

A Platform for Knowledge Sharing

Mr. Kusaya delivered an engaging presentation on the Deposit Protection Scheme. His discussion focused on the importance of safeguarding deposits, highlighting how such schemes can provide security and confidence for women entrepreneurs venturing into the financial landscape.

Other notable presenters included representatives from the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ), CBZ Bank, Ecobank, POSB, FBC, AFC, and Midlands State University’s Gender Institute. Each speaker contributed unique perspectives on financial tools, resources, and opportunities available to women in business, fostering a collaborative environment for learning and growth.
