October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honour those affected, raise awareness, and promote early detection. As the Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC), we stand in solidarity with the global movement to fight breast cancer and support the well-being of our employees and the communities we serve.
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, DPC hosted awareness activities aimed at educating staff and stakeholders about the importance of regular screening, early diagnosis, and support for those battling the disease. Through informative sessions, symbolic pink-themed campaigns, and wellness initiatives, we reinforced the message that awareness saves lives.
Breast cancer affects thousands of families across Zimbabwe and beyond.
