Celebrating Unity and Growth: Annual Tree Planting Day at Musha Wedu Housing Cooperative

On the 12th of December 2025, DPC staff members gathered in large numbers to celebrate Annual Tree Planting Day at Musha Wedu Housing Cooperative, an event marked by collective action, hope, and shared purpose. The event was made even more meaningful by the active participation of members of the community of persons living with disabilities, whose enthusiasm and commitment truly inspired everyone present.

Throughout the day, staff and community members worked side by side, planting trees that will grow into lasting symbols of our shared responsibility to protect and nurture the environment. From the first sapling planted in the ground to the final tree, the spirit of unity and cooperation was evident in every moment.

Following the planting activities, participants shared a warm meal and an opportunity to connect, reflect, and strengthen the bonds of partnership and inclusion that are central to our work. These shared moments reinforced the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels valued and included.

National Tree Planting Day serves as a powerful reminder that sustainable impact is best achieved through collaboration and teamwork. The trees planted at Musha Wedu are not only an investment in a greener and healthier environment, but also a reflection of our ongoing commitment to community development, inclusion, and environmental stewardship.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who participated and supported this meaningful initiative. Your involvement ensures that the roots of unity, sustainability, and inclusion will continue to grow for generations to come.
