The Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC) Bulawayo Regional Office successfully delivered a series of public lectures to staff members at Bulawayo Polytechnic College from the 10th to the 12th of March 2026. The primary goal was to raise awareness about the existence and operations of the Deposit Protection Scheme.
The interactive sessions covered a wide range of issues on membership, scope of cover, cover limits, fund management, public awareness, benefits, reimbursements done to date, and bank charges, among others.
The event was a resounding success, with staff expressing appreciation for the Deposit Protection Corporation’s role and current coverage levels. The positive engagement and open discussions underscored the importance of continuous public education on deposit protection and financial sector stability.
