The Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC), represented by the Bulawayo Regional Office Manager, Mr. Charles Kusaya, participated in the ZBC Radio Zimbabwe and National FM roadshows held in Hwange and Binga from 25 to 27 June 2026.
The initiative reaffirmed DPC’s commitment to promoting financial literacy, financial inclusion, and public awareness of the Deposit Protection Scheme. Through direct community engagement, the Corporation educated the public on the Scheme and its new coverage limits, helping to strengthen confidence in Zimbabwe’s financial sector.
DPC was proud to participate alongside partners including POSB, Nyaradzo, Doves, and the Zimbabwe Open University, demonstrating a shared commitment to empowering communities through financial education.
By participating in community outreach programmes such as these roadshows, DPC continues to strengthen its engagement with the public, promote confidence in the financial system, and support national efforts to build a financially informed and inclusive community. The Corporation remains dedicated to ensuring that everyone is well informed about the Deposit Protection Scheme and understands the importance of depositing their money with licensed and protected member institutions.
